- Are the tools completely free?
- Yes. Every tool on DevGizmo is free to use with no cost, no subscription, and no account required. The site is supported by display advertising to cover running costs.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no logins. Open any tool and use it immediately. Your data is never stored on our servers.
- Is my data secure? Do you log my inputs?
- All tool logic runs entirely in your browser — your inputs never leave your device. DevGizmo does not transmit, store, or log anything you type into a tool. The only data collected is standard anonymous analytics (page views, tool usage counts) via Google Analytics.
- Which browsers are supported?
- DevGizmo is tested on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. All tools use standard browser APIs and should work on any modern browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
- Can I use DevGizmo on my phone or tablet?
- Yes. DevGizmo is fully responsive and works on mobile and tablet browsers. Some tools with complex layouts — such as side-by-side diff viewers — are best used on a wider screen.
- How often are tools updated?
- Tools are actively maintained and updated as bugs are found or new features are requested. New tools are added regularly — check back or follow DevGizmo on social media to stay up to date.
- I found a bug or something isn't working. What should I do?
- Please report bugs using our contact form with a description of the problem, the tool you were using, and your browser and operating system. We aim to respond and fix issues promptly.

- Do you have an API I can use programmatically?
- Not currently. DevGizmo is designed as a browser-based tool. A programmatic API is a potential future feature — if this is something you need, get in touch and let us know your use case.
- Why are there adverts on the site?
- Display advertising is how DevGizmo covers hosting, domain, and development costs while keeping all tools free. Ads are served by Google AdSense and are placed to minimise interference with the tool UI.
